Nestled between Auckland, Coromandel and Bay of Plenty, our Waikato manufacturing sites offer the perfect location for work life balance.

We have a number of industrial Electrician and Fitter opportunities across our Waikato sites that have large scope to drive continuous improvement on equipment with some of our industry’s cutting edge automated technology.

You’ll utilise your industrial electrical experience and problem-solving skills to navigate changing work priorities to fault find and repair breakdowns as well as plan and implement preventative maintenance initiatives to ensure our sites perform at their peak each day.

  • Electricians – Lichfield
  • Fitter – Lichfield
  • Fitter – Tirau
  • Fitter - Hautapu

About you

As a strong problem solver with strong attention and excellent communication skills, you’ll work collaboratively across maintenance teams and Site to implement preventative maintenance initiatives and trouble shoot issues as they arise.
You’ll be a motivated and engaged team player who is keen to learn about new technologies and remains calm under pressure.

We’re keen to hear from you if you have:

A New Zealand Electrical Registration with a current practicing license and hands on experience with PLC automation systems and instrumentation experience with a focus on equipment repair, failure analysis to root cause and preventative maintenance

OR 

Mechanical Trade Certificate (Level 4 or higher) with mechanical aptitude as a hands-on Fitter including machining, fabrication and welding skills.

In addition to the above, you’ll also bring:

Exposure to a fast-paced automated and industrial environment  
Exceptional fault finding and problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
Excellent communication skills to collaborate as a team and engage with broader stakeholders
Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of CMMS and SAP system and the willingness to embrace new technologies
Previous experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment would be beneficial
