You’ll be responsible for building strong commercial partnerships, coordinating procurement and planning processes, and driving volume and margin growth for Fonterra’s Global Ingredients business. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with operational execution.

As Sourcing Manager, you’ll be the key link between Fonterra and Mainland/Lactalis, ensuring seamless coordination of ingredient sales and procurement activities. You’ll work across multiple teams and geographies to deliver commercial outcomes and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Enabling NZMP ingredient sales from Mainland Australia through global markets
• Managing procurement of ingredients and finished goods from Mainland/Lactalis to Fonterra, including support for the Takanini UHT site
• Leading planning and operations processes to ensure smooth delivery and execution
• Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
• Managing complaints and service issues with professionalism and urgency
• Driving accountability through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
• Influencing outcomes across the organisation to support strategic goals

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or commercial operations—ideally within dairy or FMCG
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage planning and operational processes across multiple teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
