What You’ll Do
- Spot Opportunities: Identify and evaluate IP commercialisation opportunities across strategic growth markets and priority customer segments.
- Build Frameworks: Develop and implement IP commercialisation strategies and partner assessment frameworks aligned with Fonterra’s global priorities.
- Enable Markets: Partner with sales teams to tailor IP strategies to local market needs, manage agreements, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Grow Capability: Train and coach in-market teams to embed IP-led solutions into customer engagement and solution development.
- Drive Value: Look for upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise customer account growth.
You’re a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a knack for turning complex ideas into actionable solutions. You thrive in dynamic environments and know how to influence across functions and markets.
You bring:
- 6–8 years’ experience in business development, strategic partnering, and IP commercialisation.
- Proven ability to evaluate partners and execute market-aligned strategies.
- Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences and build trusted relationships.
- Experience enabling sales teams and embedding new capabilities.
- A tertiary qualification in management, marketing, science, or engineering.
